Founded in the late 1800s by Rueben Waite in Bradford, England, the company began as a versatile service offering painting, glazing, graining, and even undertaking. In 1920, Norman Sr. brought the business to New Zealand, establishing a foundation of consistent quality and exceptional service for a diverse range of clients.
Over the decades, the Waite family’s dedication and forward-thinking approach drove the business forward. In the 1960s, Trevor Waite expanded the legacy with his own branch of the business, which eventually grew under the leadership of his son, Norman. This family commitment to innovation and excellence paved the way for ScanPro, a product offering that emerged from National Group’s services.
Guided by technical expertise and deep industry knowledge, ScanPro combines a customer-focused approach with high standards of service. With growing demand and interest, ScanPro has evolved into a standalone brand and consultancy, embodying the expertise and reliability that have always defined the Waite family businesses. Today, Norman, alongside his sons Richard and Johnny, leads the company with the same unwavering values.
